The Transfer Student Success Center (TSSC) is the gateway to obtaining the help you need to complete your degree at Wayne State University.

Whether you are transferring to WSU from a community college or transitioning from another four-year institution, starting at a new university creates unique challenges for transfer students. For example: Where do you get a OneCard? What department do you call for academic advice? Where is the bookstore and where do you park when you go there? The TSSC was created specifically to help you navigate through our system.

The TSSC can guide you to the appropriate office for help with:

  • Transfer credit evaluation
  • Academic advising. Make your appointment today!
  • Connecting with your major department
  • Learning Communities
  • Student organizations
  • Becoming part of the larger Wayne State community

If we can't answer your questions, we will figure out who can and connect you. Whether a university representative or peer mentor – we are here to support you and ensure your success at Wayne State. Check out our FAQs for more information.

Want to Know How Many Credits will Transfer?

We can provide an unofficial evaluation for U.S. colleges, and let you know how many credits will transfer. Simply e-mail us your transcript(s), or grade reports from your other colleges. E-mail to transfer@wayne.edu.

Once you apply for admission and send official transcripts, you will receive your official Transfer Credit Evaluation.
