Vaccines

Wayne State University requires residents who will live in housing to stay up to date on routine vaccinations and to have an immunization record on file. COVID-19 vaccination is strongly recommended, but not required. Masks

Face masks are optional in most campus locations. Those who wish to continue wearing masks while on campus are encouraged to do so. Please remember that all students, faculty and staff have the right to ask individuals to wear masks when in their private office, apartment or meeting space. Please keep the safety and comfort of your fellow Warriors in mind and be willing to wear a mask if requested. 

Stay home if you feel ill

If you have symptoms or have been exposed to COVID-19, stay home and, if possible, take a COVID-19 test. If you test positive, please isolate according to CDC requirements.
