The PMHSC is excited to celebrate the pre-dental WSU graduates who successfully enter dental school.  The data below represents the number of students who earned a bahelor's degree from WSU and were accepted and/or matriculated to a dental education program in Fall 2023. Students are not required to share this information with WSU, so individual school totals are lower than overall acceptance rates. Deferrals will also impact repor totals.

There were 61 verified, unique applicants from WSU). 32 students were accepted and 26 students matriculated. This is a 43% acceptance rate for WSU. There is a 51% acceptance rate nationally

WSU students who matriculated had a 3.59 average cumulative GPA and a 3.54 average science GPA. Their DAT score averages included a 19 AA, 19 PAT, and 19 total science score

Nationally, students who matriculated had a 3.64 cumulative GPA and a 3.57 average science GPA. Their DAT score averages included a 20 AA, 20 PAT, and 19 total science score
