Programming

The PMHSC currently offers regular Information Sessions for WSU Pre-Med and Pre-dental students and Essentials Meetings for Pre-Physician Assistant, Pre-Nursing, and Pre-Health Science. In addition, workshops on various topics are offered during the fall and winter semesters. Dates, times, descriptions and an RSVP link for both the Information/Essential sessions and workshops can be found in the menu to the right. Students hoping to learn more about applying to the WSU College of Nursing or one of the programs housed in the WSU College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences can follow the appropriate links in the menu as well. 

PMHSC also hosts school visits and other Special Events throughout the fall and winter semesters. Please be sure to RSVP to gain access to the Zoom information needed for the event. PMHSC events are intended for current WSU students only.

MCAT Practice Exam presented by Altius Test Prep - Wednesday, February 22 from 5:00-10:00pm in Hilberry A&B in the Student Center

Join Daniel Rogers from Altius Test Prep for a proctored half-length MCAT exam. This is an opportunity to get a sneak-peak of a critical high-stakes exam for all pre-med students. * Seating is limited-must sign up with this Altius sign-up link! *

Wayne State School of Medicine MD/MBA Info Session - Tuesday, March 28 from 5:00-6:00pm on Zoom

Wayne State University recently launched a 4 year, MD/MBA degree that is designed to arm future physicians with an understanding of the business issues at the heart of the health care challenges in the 21st century. Drs. Anne Messman and Jeffrey Stoltman will review curriculum, admissions, and answer your questions.

Clinical Skills Lab Event - Saturday, April 1 from 12:00-4:00pm At UM-Dearborn, 19000 Hubbard, Fairlane Center North, 1st Floor, Quad E+F Reception Area 

The United States Army 2nd Battalion will be teaching 3 crucial clinical skills to students from across Southeast Michigan. Join future colleagues in person to learn suturing, concussion assessment, and clinical notes protocols.
