The University Advising Center is pleased to offer a variety of workshops aimed at the development of student success.  Please see below for descriptions and links to workshops offered during the current semester.

Pre-Law Workshops

The Pre-law advising services offers two sequential workshops for students in the process of preparing a personal statement for law school admissions purposes. Workshop I is designed to introduce the purpose of the personal statement, creating its central idea, and constructing an outline. Workshop II will build off these concepts and lead to draft reviews and refinement.

Pre-Nursing Workshops

These workshops are supplemental to the College of Nursing information sessions.  The "Pre-Nursing Essentials" workshop offers essentials on what you need to know to be competitive for admission to the WSU Nursing program. The "Perfecting Your Nursing Application Essay" workshop is a guide to writing your application essay; designed to give you tips, do's and don'ts, and a suggested structure for the essay.  The pre-nursing advisor recommend you select a workshop date that works best for your schedule.
