Pathways to WSU for Adult Learners
Warrior Way Back
Warrior Way Back (WWB) is a debt forgiveness program for returning students with an outstanding balance with Wayne State University (WSU). Learn more about this program and complete an application.
The Phoenix Reentry Program
The WSU Phoenix Reentry Program provides undergraduate students who left WSU on academic probation or exclusion and who are now in a position to thrive academically with the opportunity to petition for return under a second start policy. Each college administers their own Phoenix Program, so please reach out to us to be connected with the appropriate contact. Not sure where to get started? Contact Susie Reynolds at FO5501@wayne.edu.
Returning Warriors
Adult learners who do not owe a balance to the university and who are not interested in GPA forgiveness are invited to schedule an appointment with a member of the Adult Learner Success Team. We can help you identify your next steps and chart your path to graduation!
New to WSU
If you have never (ever) taken a course at WSU, you will need to complete an application to the university.
Once you are a WSU, you are always a WSU student! That means if you've ever taken a course at Wayne State (even if it was 20 years ago), you do not need to complete another application for admission. Reach out to the Adult Learner Success Team with questions.
