Campus Tour

Come on over — we'd love to show you around! WSU offers two ways to take a good look:

  • Walking tours for students and their families (joining other individuals in a small group)
  • Group walking tours when six or more people come to campus together

Campus visits will not be offered on Thursday, August 24th, due to an admissions event.

All visits are led by current WSU students who offer an insider's perspective on what it's like to live and learn at Wayne State. In addition to experiencing classrooms, libraries and labs, tours include time with an admission counselor, who can answer questions about how to apply — and what it takes to become a Warrior.

Visits depart from the Welcome Center rain or shine. Interested in seeing the School of Medicine campus or Matthaei Physical Education Center? Please contact those departments directly to arrange a visit.

Please note: Due to certain weather conditions, our office may modify or cancel campus tours. If main campus is closed for inclement weather or any other reason, all tours may be canceled for the day. In the event of a campus closure, a Warrior guide or campus tour coordinator will contact you as soon as possible to reschedule your tour. If you have any questions, contact the Student Service Center at 313-577-2100.

Graduate students: Campus visits are mainly focused on undergraduate student buildings and needs, but all are welcome to tour campus.
