Shakespeare

The Shakespeare Learning Community will create a research-based intellectual community as we study two of Shakespeare’s greatest plays—King Lear and Othello—from multiple perspectives. Students will become experts on Shakespeare as they adapt, analyze, edit, and perform these plays. Taking a distinctively Wayne State approach to Shakespeare, we will also make full use of urban and suburban resources through field trips and a service-learning activity. This LC will be linked to ENG 2200 during the Winter 2021 semester.
