Tickets

Guests

If you are eligible to graduate and applied to graduation by the deadline, Feb. 9, 2024, or March 10th for spring/summer grads you will receive an email from commencement@wayne.edu in your WSU email the week of March 11. In this email, there is a link that will prompt you to create a username and password. Once you have created your account, the site will direct you to fill out an online form. It is here that you will collect your guest tickets and add your name phonetics.

After submitting the form, you will see a red button that says “Print/Email Tickets.” Click to print or email your tickets.

Each student will receive 4 Guest Tickets.

If you filled out the form but do not know how to access your tickets, you will need to log in to the account you created and click “Manage Tickets.” From there you can print/email your tickets.

If you did not fill out the form, search your inbox for the commencement@wayne.edu ticket email, and follow the above steps to collect your tickets.

You have until April 8th to submit your name phonetics on this form. After April 8th, you can still create and account and collect your tickets, however you will no longer be able to add any name pronunciation information.

Graduates

Graduates do not need a ticket; they will receive one at check-in the day of the ceremony.

Extra tickets

No extra tickets are available at this time due to capacity and safety. If there are extra tickets, you will receive an email closer to the ceremony date.

Selling tickets

The selling of commencement tickets and/or the reproduction of commencement tickets is prohibited. Students who allegedly participate in this behavior may have conduct charges brought against them under the Wayne State University Student Code of Conduct for violation of Section 4.2 Forgery, unauthorized alteration or unauthorized use of any university document or instrument of identification.

If you have any questions or any trouble collecting your tickets, please contact the Commencement Office at commencement@wayne.edu or call 313-577-0300.
