The American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) defines occupational therapy as the therapeutic use of occupations throughout daily activities to support participation and function in life roles. Basically, illnesses and accidents can cause challenges that affect independence. Preparing for OT
Wayne State University offers an excellent Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) program through the Eugene Applebaum College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. Students interested in applying to the OT program must submit an application to the Occupational Therapy Centralized Application Service (OTCAS). Learn more.

The minimum eligibility to participate in the Wayne State Transfer Pathways is a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or above, Michigan Transfer Agreement (MTA), and an associate degree (earned or Reverse Transfer).
