Welcome
What is STARS?
The Student Tracking Advising Retention System (STARS) is a web application that interacts with a collection of Wayne State University databases. It is designed to enable convenient access to university data at both an individual and aggregate level for advising, retention efforts, curriculum tracking and program evaluation.
- General student classifications, academic standing by term, application information, and holds
- WSU classes and other academic history
- Transfer courses and previous education
- GPA summaries.
Getting started
- Use your AccessID and password to log in stars.wayne.edu.
Wayne State University students use STARS to schedule appointments with their assigned academic advisor (Major) or any supplemental academic advisors (minor, pre-med, veterans, honors). STARS is a student success tool that will help you and your academic advisor identify the best degree completion path, along with appropriate success strategies, for you to graduate. It will help your advisor tailor communication and advising services to address your specific needs.
