Global Studies Learning Community
The Global Studies Learning Community provides a supportive, inclusive and structured environment for students who are taking core classes in Global Studies (GLS 2700, GLS 2800, and GLS 2900 in Fall 2023 and Winter 2024). Students have the opportunity to join various social and educational activities throughout the term. Peer mentors will offer informal gatherings, writing workshops, individual support, and more to help build community, ensure successful completion of coursework, and to enable students to think globally and discuss global connections right here in Detroit.
