Biography:

Jasmine B. Ulmer (Ph.D., University of Florida) is an associate professor. She currently coordinates the Educational Evaluation and Research program. In addition to courses in research methods, she has taught courses on organizational leadership and data-driven decision-making. With Christina Hughes, Carol Taylor, and Michelle Salazar Pérez, she is co-editing a forthcoming handbook on transdisciplinary feminism. With James M. deLeón Salvo, she is the founding general co-editor of the Qualitative Research Methods division of Routledge Resources Online, the Developing Traditions in Qualitative Inquiry book series, and a forthcoming series of international handbooks in qualitative research methods, also on Routledge. 

Ulmer locates her most recent writings at the intersection of research methodology, technology, and community. Through this work — ​and through multiple publishing, communications, and technology-based initiatives — she hopes to contribute to a more equitable, inclusive, and peaceful world.
