The Geospatial@Wayne LC will incorporate: Peer mentors - Peer mentors who will host drop-in hours, Mappy Hours, communicate with students at least once a week, provide academic support for course content, assisting the LC coordinator with planning, organizing, and facilitating all LC activities Field trips - Visiting with GIS teams and agencies working throughout the city of Detroit Study groups - Drop-in hours for course content support at least once a week Social events - Participating in GIS Day, the 30 Days of Mapping Challenge, and ArcTober Community engagement - Participating in GIS Day, bringing the broader community together around geospatial and mapping activities and projects This LC is embedded in GPH 3600 and UP 6700
