Kristi Andreski Price, LMSW received her MSW from Wayne State in 2015. After attaining her MSW, Kristi worked briefly in nonprofit volunteer coordination before taking on roles in higher education. She returned to Wayne State in 2018 to coordinate the HRSA BHWET Program with WSU faculty Suzanne Brown and Umeika Stephens. After a brief hiatus from Wayne in 2021 working on a project at U of M, she returned to the SSW to take on the new role of the Clinical IPE Program Coordinator. Kristi is passionate about macro social work practice, interprofessional education, and policy advocacy. Kristi has previously taught SW 3030, SW 4020, and SW 7065.
Kristi's responsibilities include to enhance training opportunities for social work students and enhance models of care within university and community settings; represent the SSW on university committees and work groups related to IPE; design and implement IPE curriculum, courses, and practice sites; collaborate with other health professionals in provider settings to develop models of care; supervise students in practice settings as necessary; and coordinate AHEC training model for SSW and involved students.
