Brandon L. Terrell earned his B.S. in Psychology and MSW in Chemical Dependency and Mental Health from Eastern Michigan University. As a psychotherapist specializing in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Brandon’s research focuses on mental health disparities, particularly the overrepresentation of schizophrenia diagnoses among Black males. His commitment to dismantling systemic oppression, elevating the voices of black males, and advocating for policy change drives both his academic pursuits and community impact.
