Hello and welcome! I'm happy you've dropped by.
My name is Krystal Tosch and I am the Web Accessibility Coordinator for Wayne State University. I believe my role here at the university is very unique as I spend some of my time with the Office of Marketing & Communications and some of my time with the Office for Teaching & Learning. I feel so lucky to work with both staff and faculty day in and day out. Prior to joining the OTL in 2016 as an instructional designer, I worked for WSU’s College of Nursing for many years as a multimedia specialist. I have spent most of my career assisting faculty with inclusive and accessible course design in varying class formats.
Most of my work in the OTL is now currently centered around making course materials accessible and working with faculty to develop solutions that support accessibility and Universal Course Design. I look forward to working with you!
When I am not working, I also teach First Year Seminar (FYS 1010): Learning with the Brain in Mind and BA 1500: Business Tools and Applications, both in the online synchronous format. I also enjoy spending time with my family, baking, listening to music and going to concerts and traveling the great state of Michigan that we love so much.
Master of Library and Information Science, Wayne State University, 2014
Graduate Certificate in Information Management, Wayne State University, 2014
B.S. in Business Administration, Wayne State University, 2011
