Dr. McNeill is a nationally certified as adult-gerontology primary care nurse practitioner. For over 8 years, she served as a health care provider at a federally qualified health center in Detroit, Michigan, serving the uninsured/low-insured patient population. She is currently working in internal medicine in Detroit. Her primary focus as a nurse practitioner has been in the field of primary care/chronic disease management for adults, with emphasis on health promotion and disease prevention. Her quality improvement initiatives include the utilization of evidence-based, culturally sensitive interventions to decrease health disparities among at-risk populations.
