Biography:

Cherise M. Frost is a native Detroiter, proud alum of Cass Technical High School, Howard University, and Wayne State University, and the newly appointed Director of Student Disability Services at Wayne State University. Cherise has been supporting students with disabilities at Wayne since 2012. Cherise is passionate about equity and inclusion in higher education and within the greater community.

"As the Director of Student Disability Services, my goal is to promote an inclusive educational experience for all students, with an emphasis on universal design, accessibility, and building community. It is my desire to enrich the journey through academia for students seeking accommodations, advocacy and support. We can accomplish this by collaborating with campus partners, addressing the needs of students compassionately and holistically, as well as being dedicated to high-impact practices that are aimed at enhancing student success. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, reading, watching movies, and spending time with my family."
