Scholarship essay writing workshop
Students who want to learn how to write a strong scholarship essay can attend a one-hour workshop at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 28, in Lab A of the Undergraduate Library, or 4 p.m. Tuesday, March 6, in the Academic Success Center Lab of the UGL.
The Warrior Writing Workshop teaches students to write a clear and concise scholarship essay; effectively structure a response with and without prompts; and write engaging content with brevity. To gain the most from the session, students should bring a draft essay to the workshop.
This skill-building writing workshop is open to all WSU students, and seats are limited. Register online for the Wednesday, Feb. 28 or Tuesday, March 6 workshop and learn more at events.wayne.edu. Questions can be directed to Adam Bauer at fk7905@wayne.edu.
