January 29, 2019 - 8:02 p.m. EST - Due to extreme cold, Wayne State University will remain closed all day Wednesday, January 30 and Thursday, January 31. 

Essential personnel should check with their supervisors about reporting.

January 28, 2019 - 6:39 p.m. EST - Wayne State University will re-open on Tuesday, January 29. Due to extreme weather conditions, the university will close on Tuesday at 4 p.m. (Campus shuttles will run until 5 p.m.) and remain closed all day Wednesday, January 30. 

Essential personnel should check with their supervisors about reporting.

12:45 p.m. EST - Due to severe weather conditions, the university will close at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, January 28. All essential employees must still report. The President's office will remain open.

All housing facilities will be open and will operate normally during the snow closure.

7:40 a.m. EST - Main campus, Advanced Technology Education Center (ATEC) and Macomb Education Center classes running as scheduled today.

Schoolcraft, Oakland Community College and the Macomb Community College University Center are closed and WSU classes at those locations are canceled today.
