Due to inclement weather, WSU will shift to remote operations on January 21-22.

4:22 p.m. ET - Due to dangerously low temperatures, Wayne State University will transition to remote operations on Tuesday, January 21 and Wednesday, January 22, 2025.

Students will receive further information via email or Canvas from their instructors regarding class arrangements. Faculty and staff who can work remotely are expected to do so; those who are unable to work remotely should contact their supervisors for further instructions. Critical infrastructure workers are expected to report to campus.

Library buildings are closed, but online services will be available both days.

Student Center will be open from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. both days, however all events are canceled. Midtown Market and Starbucks in the Student Center will be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Residential dining at Towers Cafe will operate as normal.
