Wayne State is proud to be a part of the Michigan Assured Admission Pact (MAAP), a cooperative effort among public universities around the state to increase awareness of educational options for recent high school graduates and demystify the admission process.

Participating institutions have committed to admitting all Michigan high school graduates who have earned a cumulative high school grade point average of 3.0 or above (on a 4.0 scale). MAAP universities believe that a uniform and widely communicated standard for admission will reduce the uncertainty and anxiety that are often part of the college admission process and enable students to realize their full educational potential.

Eligible students must still complete their Wayne State application โ€” use code WSU2024 to have your application fee waived โ€”ย and the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) using Wayne State's code, 002329. The FAFSA will be available beginning in December.
