Transfer plans

Transfer plans lay out specific community college courses that may count toward your general education and program requirements at Wayne State University. Transfer plans are different from articulation agreements in that transfer of the courses listed are not guaranteed and are subject to change. Please use this guide as a reference.

There is no limit to the amount of classes you may transfer from your community college to Wayne State. Wayne State strongly recommends that you fulfill your general education requirements through the Michigan Transfer Agreement before transferring. If you do not have a Michigan Transfer Agreement endorsement, you can transfer each course from Wayne State's general education category, which is found in the Michigan Community College General Education Tables.

Note to advisors: If you see any changes/updates that must be made on a specific transfer plan, please email the transfer credit department.
