Campus Visits

campus-tours.jpg

Visits depart from the Welcome Center and last approximately 90 minutes. You'll start things off by talking with an admission counselor for details about the application process and Wayne State's range of academic programs. Then a current student will lead you on a walking tour of campus with other prospective students and guests, showing off highlights such as the Student Center, the Mort Harris Recreation and Fitness Center, the Undergraduate Library, residence halls, and classrooms.

Visitor parking is available in Structure 6.

Visits to our athletic complexes and medical campus are not included in the campus tour.

College of Engineering tours

On select dates throughout the year, you're invited to meet with engineering students, faculty members and advisors while touring the Marvin I. Danto Engineering Development Center and checking out research being conducted in state-of-the-art labs. Be sure to register for a College of Engineering tour before coming to campus.

College of Fine, Performing and Communication Arts tours

Several CFPCA departments offer targeted tours for a behind-the-scenes look at stages, costume shops, art galleries and recording studios. Check in with the CommunicationArt and Art History, Dance, Music or Theatre departments for their current tour schedules.
