As of May 2018, our campus visit program for groups is at capacity for May and June 2018. We continue to accept group requests in the event another group cancels. Group visit requests will be honored in the order that they are received. We are able to accommodate a limited number of requests for July 2018, but are unable to honor August 2018 requests.
Wayne State University Undergraduate Admissions is pleased to host campus visits geared toward college-bound students, educational organizations, and other special visitors for groups larger than five people.
We can accommodate group visits on select weekdays at 10:30 a.m. or 12:00 p.m. Group visits are not offered on weekends.
Our campus visit coordinator will follow up to confirm your appointment and help make arrangements to best suit your needs. Groups must include at least one adult chaperone for every 20 students, and those chaperones must accompany the students at all times.
Visits depart from the Welcome Center and last approximately 90 minutes. A current WSU student will lead your group on a walking tour of campus, showing off highlights such as the Student Center, the Mort Harris Recreation and Fitness Center, the Undergraduate Library, residence halls, and classrooms. This tour requires extensive walking, so visitors are encouraged to wear comfortable shoes and come prepared for seasonal weather conditions. If anyone in your party requires disability accommodations, please indicate your specific needs below.
Please plan to arrive 10 minutes before your tour time. If your group is delayed, please let us know by calling 313-577-5560. A delay of 30 minutes or more could result in the need to reschedule.
Beyond your visit, there are several other ways to experience campus, such as attending a planetarium show or enjoying lunch in a dining hall. Let us know if your group is interested in extending your day at Wayne State and we can help coordinate the details.
