We are excited to announce our second-annual STEM Day, presented by the Wayne State College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, College of Education, College of Engineering, Eugene Applebaum College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and School of Medicine — focusing on science, technology, engineering and math — on Tuesday, March 13, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m.
Due to an overwhelming response to Wayne State's second annual STEM Day, we have reached registration capacity. Please submit your information on our link below to be notified if space becomes available.
During STEM DAY, sixth-through ninth-grade students will participate in two hands-on, interactive sessions covering a range of STEM studies and career opportunities, including:
- Chemical Engineering
- Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Computer Science
- Criminal Justice
- Environmental Science
- Learning Design and Technology
- Nutrition and Food Science
- Political Science
In addition to the sessions, attendees are invited to fully experience Wayne State through campus tours and a complimentary lunch. STEM Day is free and open to teachers with their classes as well as individual and home schooled students. All students must submit a signed permission slip by February 10. Space is limited.
