The sum of all awards cannot exceed the financial aid cost of attendance.

2023-24 Freshman merit award renewal criteria

Academic merit scholarships are renewable based on the criteria listed below. These requirements apply to all students who receive an award for the first time during the 2023-24 academic year. Requirements for all awards include enrollment in a minimum of 12 undergraduate WSU credits each fall and winter semester. You must pass a minimum of 30 credits each academic year. Awards are only available during the fall and winter semesters for four consecutive years while you are working on your first bachelor's degree.

2022-23 Freshman merit award renewal criteria
