Wayne State to host symposium on big data, business analytics

Registration is open for the 2017 Big Data and Business Analytics Symposium hosted by Wayne State University in Detroit.
The annual workshop, which will be held March 23-24 at the university's Student Center Building (5221 Gullen Mall #135, Detroit), explores the issues businesses may face with applying big data strategies to marketing, product development, distribution, and other topics.
The symposium will also look into new tools, technologies, and processes that will help spur innovation and growth.
Among the event's keynote speakers will be Dominos Pizza Inc. executives Dan Djuric, vice president, global infrastructure and enterprise information management, and Cliff Miller, manager of enterprise information management data integration team. They'll talk about using big data to derive insights on customers and drive change.
Participants can learn how to identify big data opportunities, develop business cases, and use analytics to drive business success.
