Tigers' winter caravan to stop by WSU's Center for Latino and Latin American Studies

The Detroit Tigers today announced their itinerary for their annual winter caravan, which makes publicity stops around the state. Tigers general manager Dave Dombrowski, manager Jim Leyland, coaches, players and broadcasters will take part Jan. 24-25, traveling in two buses and an additional dozen vehicles across the region. One of the planned stops on Friday, Jan. 25 is 2:45-3 p.m. at Wayne State University's Center for Latino and Latin American Studies, 5045 Anthony Wayne Drive. Tigers players will participate in a roundtable discussion and Q&A session with Wayne State students and teachers from the Greater Detroit Hispanic community. Tigers players will share their experience as Latinos in Major League Baseball with students at Wayne State University at the recently renovated Latin American cultural room, Salon de Nuestra Cultura.
