Rising Scholars Program
The Rising Scholars Program (RSP) offers specially designated sections of MAT 0993 and MAT 1070, taught by highly trained instructors in a combined lecture-workshop format designed to support students who want and/or need to excel in mathematics and who have a dedication to learning and willingness to do the hard work that is required for such success. The RSP program offers individual tutoring, staff office hours, study groups, and a unique support system consisting of instructors, workshop leaders, undergraduate assistants, and student support personnel. Students pursuing a degree in science, engineering, medicine, mathematics or education are strongly encouraged to take their math courses within RSP.
