CHampions Aspiring to Make Pathways to Success (CHAMPS) Learning Community
The CHAMPS Learning Community provides resources and support to students who have had a history of placement in the foster care or juvenile justice system. All students who participate will engage in support of prospective students in order to prepare them for learning at Wayne State. There will also be some opportunity for students to engage in community outreach and develop leadership skills. The CHAMPS LC will also teach students skills in public speaking, event planning, community service, all while they have direct engagement with youth eligible for the CHAMPS program. Coursework required for participation.
