BIO 1050
The BIO 1050 Learning Community is directed at helping beginning students in biology to learn how to be successful students. We use Active Learning and embedded Peer Mentors to accomplish these goals. This LC significantly improves the performance of students in BIO 1050 as well as in the subsequent advanced classes. This LC is linked with BIO 1050 (CRNs 12958, 10211, 13852, 18370) for the Fall semester.
