Emerging Scholars Program
The Emerging Scholars Program (ESP) is a special honors-level mathematics program taught by highly trained instructors in a combined lecture-workshop format designed to support students who want and/or need to excel in mathematics and who have a dedication to learning and willingness to do the hard work that is required for such success. It is available to students in MAT 1800, MAT 2010 and MAT 2020. The ESP program offers individual tutoring, staff office hours, study groups, and a unique support system consisting of instructors, workshop leaders, undergraduate assistants, and student support personnel.Students pursuing a degree in science, engineering, medicine, mathematics or education are strongly encouraged to take their math courses within ESP.
