Our University clinic is here to help you with everything from routine check-ups to special treatment.

Affordable Care Act: Sign up for insurance under the Affordable Care Act.

Medicaid: Apply for federal insurance coverage.

Sexually Transmitted Diseases Clinic: Services include STD  screening, testing and treatment for patients and their partners, rapid on-site HIV testing, pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP), a daily oral HIV prevention medication, Post-Exposure Prophylaxis (PEP), a course of HIV prevention medication after high-risk exposure, free condoms and lubricant, and immediate linkage with the WSU HIV treatment program. Services are provided regardless of one's ability to pay.

WSU Campus Health Center: On-campus clinic that accepts a variety of insurance providers, including Medicaid. Every currently enrolled Wayne State student gets one free illness visit per semester. Your free student visit covers the provider's time spent to evaluate you and address your reasons for coming in for the visit. Any additional testing and/or procedures that are needed outside of that evaluation are not included in your free student visit.

WSU Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS): CAPS is part of Student Services and is the university agency dedicated to provide counseling and psychological services for Wayne State students and to provide consultation and outreach to the university community in support of student welfare.

WSU Morris Recreation and Fitness Center: Students gain access to the Mort Harris Recreation and Fitness Center by paying the Student Service Fee which is billed with tuition, and their OneCard.
