Gen Ed Teaching Award Winners 2023-2024

The General Education Teaching Award recognizes instructors at all levels who have demonstrated excellence. This year’s recipients are:

• Lauren Duquette-Rury, Associate Professor, Department of Sociology, College of Liberal Arts and Sciences
• Peter Marra, Assistant Professor of Teaching, Departments of English and Gender, Sexuality, and Women Studies Program, College of Liberal Arts and Sciences
• Felice Sperone, Assistant Professor of Teaching, Department of Environmental Science and Geology, College of Liberal Arts and Sciences

The winners were selected by the General Education Oversight Committee (GEOC) based on evidence of reflective teaching as linked to the university's core values.
