Juneteenth

 
Wayne State University celebrates the hallmark of Black freedom through the holiday of Juneteenth. Per the University's recognition of Juneteenth, various events and activities will occur across campus and in Detroit. We invite you to learn about The struggles and plight of black communities in Detroit and the United States. Juneteenth is a unifying holiday; it forces us to look honestly at where we are as a nation and what we can do to progress.
