Workshop Series

The WSU Pre-Med Health & Sciences Center is happy to provide a variety of workshops designed to strengthen a pre-health science candidate in numerous ways.  Workshop topics vary from semester to semester and are offered during the Fall and Winter terms only. Check back regularly for a list of workshop topics, dates, times and locations.  An RSVP is encouraged to ensure enough materials are present.

Princeton Review will give an overview of their instructional resources for MCAT prep. In this workshop, there will be an opportunity to practice sample MCAT questions and to learn how to approach your responses to specific types of questions.

Ask four MDs, all of them Wayne State alumni, anything. As they share their experiences and advice, you'll hear honest answers about how they encounter factors such as race, religion, class, immigration status, and gender in their work.
