STARS 2.0

Students will the use the University's STARS 2.0 platform to schedule an appointment with their assigned advisor. In addition, students can use this system to schedule with their supplemental advisor (pre-med, veterans, honors) and other student success professionals. The STARS 2.0 platform also allows advisors and students to work together during their advising sessions to review past coursework, navigate academic concerns, and develop successful strategies for degree completion.

Degree Works

The system known as Degree Works is also available for students to use as a tool and  allows  for the student to see their progress toward graduation. Using this tool with your advisor, you can create a plan and see which courses will be taken in future semesters. Degree Works is ultimately a degree audit software that provides Wayne State University students and advisors alike with easily accessible degree worksheets and plan of work charts to assist with a successful path toward graduation.
