UG Advising links
Students are now able to use the new Advising Works system to schedule an appointment with their assigned advisor. Additionally they can use this system to meet with their supplemental advisor (pre-med, veterans, honors). Advising Works is a tool used for student succes, that allows for advisors and students to work together to develop courseload completion plans. The system allows for easily accesablie communication between both parties as well as tools for advisors and students to develop tailored success strategies for graduation.
The system known as Degree Works is also available for students to use as a tool and allows for the student to see their progress toward graduation. Using this tool with your advisor, you can create a plan and see which courses will be taken in future semesters. Degree Works is ultimatley a degree audit software that provides Wayne State University students and advisors alike with easily accesablile degree worksheets and plan of work charts to assist with a successful path toward graduation.
