Wayne State University will ensure that third-party content providers are aware of our Web Accessibility Policy. Wayne State University will also favor providers based on their accessibility conformance.

All software and technology to be utilized on public-facing webpages are required to undergo an accessibility review by the Web Accessibility Coordinator to ensure compliance with WCAG 2.0 Level A and AA guidelines.

The Web Accessibility Coordinator will work with the Purchasing Department to ensure the technical requirements are part of Request for Proposals (RFP) documentation for services that fall under the University's Web Accessibility Policy. For contracts already in place, it is required upon renewal, that the web accessibility technical requirements be included as an addendum or otherwise added to the contract language.
