In his early career Dr. Korzeniewski led Michigan’s Maternal & Child Health Epidemiology Section and later the Department of Applied Epidemiology at a healthcare quality improvement organization. In 2011 he was appointed to the faculty of WSUSOM’s obstetrics department where he served as Director of the Perinatal Epidemiology Unit. In 2019 Dr. Korzeniewski joined the Department of Family Medicine and Public Health Sciences. He currently leads the epidemiology section of the Biostatistics and Epidemiology Research Design (BERD) core out of the Integrative Biosciences Center. His research focuses on hypertension and its sequelae across the lifespan including pregnancy complications, neurodevelopmental disorders and adult cardiovascular disease.
