TechTown center of $2.4B battery investment from feds that could create 6,800 jobs in next 18 months

Wayne State's TechTown is featured in an article about Vice President Joe Biden's announcement of Michigan's $2.4-billion federal grant program designed to spur manufacturing of batteries for electric vehicles. Backed by Wayne State University, Henry Ford Health System and General Motors Co. TechTown is offering a range of start-up services to 98 small businesses. Executive Director Randal Charlton is quoted. The AP story was picked up by numerous media.
