Lupovitch to head Cohn-Haddow Center

Professor Howard N. Lupovitch has been named director of the Cohn-Haddow Center for Jewish Studies at Wayne State University beginning June 1. He will also serve as associate professor of history. He will succeed Professor David Weinberg, who is retiring. Lupovitch holds the Waks Family Chair of Jewish History at the University of Western Ontario. This semester, he is also the Padnos Distinguished Visiting Professor of Judaic Studies at the University of Michigan. (subscriber access only)
