Heather RietKerk has accepted an appointment as the Director of Purchasing Services at Wayne State University.  She has extensive experience in procurement and supply chain management and a commitment to achieving the highest quality service.  Prior to joining Wayne State, Heather was the Director of Supply Chain at Crabtree & Evelyn, and From 2001 to 2010, Heather was the Director of Strategic Sourcing and Supply Chain/Business Operations - External Research at Pfizer Inc..

As we near the go-live date for WayneBuy, we’ve scheduled several different training opportunities to prepare you and your department for the transition from Banner RAPP to WayneBuy eProcurement.  You can visit the burgundy banner under your employee tab entitled, “Training, Seminars, and Workshops” to register now.  Training is optional but recommended for more frequent users or areas with specialized requisitioning needs

The University has recently signed an agreement with Enterprise Holdings for car rentals.  We have secured discounts for their National Car Rental at airports across the country, and we have reduced the cost for Enterprise Car rentals on campus.  Details will be available through Travel Wayne and the Concur Program.  To order your Enterprise Emerald Club discount card, click on the following link:

Zip Car

Wayne State University and Zipcar, Inc., the world’s leading car-sharing network, offers a Zipcar car-sharing program on campus. The cost-effective and convenient transportation option is now available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to students, faculty members and staff members age 18 and older.  Effective May 1, 2012, you can now use your Procurement Card when using ZipCar, with a $100.00 transaction limit.  For more information on the Zipcar program, click the following link:
