May 12 American Heart Association's Heart Walk Detroit
We are pleased to announce that Wayne State University will be participating in the American Heart Association's (AHA) annual Metro Detroit Heart Walk, creating teams under the Wayne Cares umbrella. Cardiovascular Disease is the number 1 killer of both men AND women in the United States, and we all have been affected by this terrible disease one way or another.
This event is Free and fun at Ford Field!

May 26 Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure Detroit
We are pleased to announce that Wayne State University will be participating in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, with teams under the Wayne Cares umbrella. Many of us know a woman in our family or friends that has suffered from the devastating disease of breast cancer. Join us on a spring Saturday morning at Comerica Park for the 21st Annual Detroit Race for the Cure to celebrate, remember and raise funds for this cause.
Total Compensation and Wellness has created our own team for the Race for the cure and now we're looking for members to raise funds and walk with us!

June 30 Michigan Hospice Race and Remember
We're proud to announce Total Compensation and Wellness and Wellness Warriors are supporting Michigan Hospice! This event will take place on Detroit's beautiful River Front. Any one can register by clicking the link below, hitting the green "register now" button, creating a log in & then selecting the team "WSU Wellness Warriors and Friends" team from the drop down menu.

4) Scroll down to the 'Basic Health' section and click 'Wellness@Wayne' Events
5) Click on event you'd like to attend and register!
6) Be sure NOT to register for a Wellness Warriors event if you're not a Wellness Warrior. You must be a 2012 Wellness Warrior to attend 'Wellness Warrior' events (listed separately from Wellness@Wayne events). 2012 Wellness Warriors: please register in the Wellness Warriors section.
