According to the CDC, the workplace may act as a “point of spread” where employees can easily spread flu to their fellow employees as well as to others in the community. We are encouraging all employees who want protection from the flu to get vaccinated for seasonal flu.
Wayne State University Human Resources is in partnership with University Pharmacy and the Eugene Applebaum College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences to provide influenza vaccinations.

COST
Immunization is free to employees and their dependants (spouse and children over age 18) enrolled in:
- Health Alliance Plan,
- Blue Care Network,
- Total Health Care and
- DMC Care.
You MUST bring your health insurance card, WSU One Card and a government-issued picture ID.
Immunization is $25 for employees and their dependants (spouse and children over age 18) enrolled in:
- Blue Cross and Blue Shield or
- Community Blue, or
- If you receive cash-in-lieu of medical insurance, or
- If you do not bring your health insurance card.
Checks should be made payable to: University Pharmacy; cash (exact change only) will be accepted.
Please bring two copies (one for you and one for the pharmacist) of the following consent form to your appointment:

Please self-register. Make an appointment for yourself and family members (register each person using a different timeslot) by logging into Pipeline and clicking here: https://www.eaa.wayne.edu/event_new/session_registration.cfm?eid=330OR
1. Log into Pipeline
2. Click the 'Employee' tab
3. Click the maroon 'Training, Seminars and Workshops' icon
4. Scroll to 'Basic Health' section
5. Click on 'Flu Shots'
6. Click on 'Sign Up' for time you'd like to register for. Scroll down for more times.
7. Repeat steps 1-6 for family members. Remember, since you're using your Pipeline access for your family members, each person must register for a different timeslot. The University Pharmacy will be flexible with appointment times
