Vision Plan Option!
WSU employees can now select between two vision plan options, Basic and Enhanced Buy-Up. The addition of the dual option vision coverage provides a significant enhancement to the Wayne State University medical plans and overall benefit package.

Lower Maximum for Flexible Spending Health Care Reimbursement Account
Due to the Health Care Reform Act, the maximum contribution to a FSA Health Care Reimbursement Account has been reduced to $2,500 from $5,000 for 2013.
If you wish to make a change in your medical coverage or enroll in the flexible spending account,you must utilize the on-line enrollment process or complete the necessary paper forms available on this Web page.
If you are not making any changes to your medical plan no action is required, but you should review the new 2013 medical plan rates.
