- Financial Literacy Program - 40 Money Management Tips for College Students
- November 10 2009 at 4:00 PMWelcome Center, 42 West WarrenThe Office of Student Financial Aid is sponsoring the following seminar "40 Money Management Tips for College Students" as part of a continuing series of sessions designed to improve the financial literacy of Wayne State students. This will be an interactive program that will help students learn to better manage their finances. When you know how to manage your money, you are better prepared to successfully meet your goals and have enough money to make them a reality. The best way to take charge of your money is to have a plan for it. This session will provide strategies and tips regarding how to do just that! Those who attend will be entered in a $500 scholarship drawing. The seminar will be held Tuesday, November 10th in the Welcome Center Auditorium from 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm. - Law Winter Aid Pays Bills
- January 4 2010Law School Financial AidAid is scheduled to disburse to student account balances on January 4, 2010 for all Law School students enrolled in the Winter 2010 semester. All financial aid requirements must be complete, including loan counseling and loan promissory notes. All scholarship recipients must have a completed FAFSA (www.fafsa.ed.gov) on file in order to receive funds. The WSU Student Accounts Receivables Office will issue refunds to students with credit balances within 14 days of disbursement. You may review your award and award requirements on Pipeline (www.pipeline.wayne.edu.) - Law Summer Aid Pays Bills
- May 14 2010Law School Financial Aid OfficeAid is scheduled to disburse to student account balances on May 14, 2010 for all Law School students enrolled in the Summer 2010 semester. Apply for Summer Aid by submitting the Summer 2010 Financial Aid Request Form, available in our office and on our Web page. The WSU Student Accounts Receivables Office will issue refunds to students with credit balances within 14 days of disbursement. Students who have been granted a Federal College Work-Study award are responsible for filing payroll paperwork with their employer. Students employed at the Law School should file paperwork in the Law School Business Office. Regular timesheets must be submitted.
