The news magazine The Economist estimated that up to 75% of the value of U.S. public companies is now based on their intellectual property. So, it is important for the technology startup companies to develop a strategy for protecting intellectual capital. The iBridge Network is an on-line service that is the catalyst for compiling intellectual capital, and collaboration among researchers, universities and other and other research institutions as well as industry.
